MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 10, Aftermath

Aftermath is the 10th mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. It's a doozey, but not unexpected. The first objective wants you to build 3 Weapons in your Weapons Depot. Assuming you can build 1 right away, you're looking at a minimum of 36 hours wait here. The next objective wants you to loot 15 Huecuvas from the job WIPE OUT A FAVELA STREET GANG, which is in Heliopolis, Brazil. 15 might not sound so bad, but that's a relatively high energy cost job, so get started as soon as you can. Icing 75 opponents in New York shouldn't be terribly hard to complete, and hopefully I should get that accomplished before I'm ever done with the first two objectives.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 9, Absolved

Absolved is the 9th mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. There's no 'hard' wait time for this one, although I'm guessing it will take some work. The objective to 0/40 JOB: "TRACK DOWN LIEUTENANT SANDOVAL" will probably be the biggest pain, looks like that one will cost me over 5000 energy. Don't worry about the objective for obtaining animals; that one will most likely be completed automatically when you are doing jobs, robbing, and fighting, so you will not need to go out of your way otherwise to complete it.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 8, Sinless

Sinless is the 8th mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. Looks like more wait time on this one too; you can build items in your Chicago Speakeasy every 18 hours. Also, a minimum wait of 8 hours for the wars. As far as obtaining crew members in Chicago--it doesn't matter if you ask for crew from Chicago or Brazil, both will count. Additionally, accepting crew member requests in your ZMC will count, so you shouldn't have a wait time for at least that part of this mission.

I'm off to wait now!

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 7: Sins of the Father

Sins of the Father is the 7th mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. Fortunately there is no wait time for building here, but there is one objective that requires a significant amount of energy in order to loot the required number of items. Depending on the amount of energy you have, LOOT 15 TOMMY SHARKS FROM JOB: "CASE WAREHOUSES ON THE NORTH SIDE" could take a minute...

Then you've also got to 0/15 LOOT 15 TWIN BARRELED MACHINE GUNS FROM ROBBING IN BRAZIL, which I was able to get done in less than 5 robbing boards, so it wasn't too painful.

For that matter, outside of the annoyance of finding a war that you can actually get into, the objective to help in 4 wars wasn't terrible, either. You just have to participate, it doesn't matter if they win.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 6: The Refusal

The Refusal is the sixth mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. Yes, there is yet more waiting time along with this mission. You must collect from your Truck Shop 3 times, which can be done every 8 hours, so the bare minimum of time needed will be 16 hours--if, that is, you haven't already collected from your Chicago properties today. So sit back and relax...you'll have plenty of time to complete the other two objectives.

The game directs you to Chicago to clear robbing boards, however you can clear robbing boards in any city in order to fulfill the objective of clearing 6 robbing boards.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 5: A Peace Offering

A Peace Offering is the fifth mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. Jeez, this one has even more wait time. I think Zynga gets a little too carried away with making these things hard. Hopefully you haven't built from your Armory yet when you get to this mission, so that you can get started building 3 armors right away. You will have a bare minimum of 36 hours wait time on this one unless you like to give Zynga your money. I was able to build right away, and I will probably speed build an armor tomorrow when I wake up, and another tomorrow night to finish this one.

In light of that, taking out 10 Peacemakers on the fight list and robbing 20 Barracks in Brazil will be easy-peasy.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 4, Weakest Link

Weakest Link is the 4th mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. Unfortunately I'm just now getting to it, after having some technical difficulties with the previous mission, Strongest Pillar. The game wasn't counting all of my ices in Chicago, and I finally got frustrated and went to Customer Support this afternoon. With that behind me now, I'm happy to see this mission won't include a long wait as the previous missions have. For Weakest Link, the objective to get 30 Cast Irons from my mafia was already fulfilled for me. One less thing to worry about!

The game will direct you to Brazil to clear 4 robbing boards, but you can actually clear them in any city and it will count. For the last objective, I thought I'd try fighting in another city besides Chicago to loot the Hay Burners, but I got none so I switched back to fighting in Chicago for that one. Fortunately I got all I needed with one full stamina; I don't like fighting in Chicago or Brazil :(

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 3, Strongest Pillar

Strongest Pillar is the third mission in the Dasvidaniya mission event for Mafia Wars. After finishing your work in Brazil, now you must fly back to Chicago and get to work in your Warehouse. So here is another 23 hour wait...*sigh*. After building an item in Chicago, your instructions are to take another plane back to Brazil and start acquiring your crew members.

Not everyone realizes this, but your Brazil and Chicago crews are one in the same. I made my call for crew members in Chicago, and they still counted toward the mission. You can get up to 10 crew members by posting to your news feed, and it will also count if you click on the posts of other players needing crew members. So you can really get that objective squared away in one sitting.

Icing 50 opponents in Chicago and looting 10 Widow's Fortunes from the job Dodge The Guards in Sam's Truck Shop district in Chicago might take a little while depending on your stats, but these aren't overly difficult and chances are, you will still have them done long before you're able to build the second time from your Warehouse.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 2, Price of Betrayal

Here's the second mission in the Mafia Wars mission event Dasvidaniya, called Price of Betrayal. Unfortunately, this one involves even more wait time. This mission event will really have you globe trotting! Yesterday we were in Chicago, today we're in Brazil and then New York, and back to Brazil to finish. It shouldn't take much time to attack 100 peeps in New York, and if you have a small or slow mafia, it could take a little time to get 15 body bags from your Mafia, but you'll probably get those done before the objective of buying 2 items from your Black Market in Brazil. That's an automatic 23 hours wait between builds, so you'll be waiting even longer than that if you already built from your Black Market recently.

MAFIA WARS Dasvidaniya mission event: mission 1, Marked

The first mission for the Dasvidaniya mission event in Mafia Wars is called Marked. This first mission already entails a bit of waiting, although nothing terribly unreasonable. You'll need to Declare two Wars, which you can do every 8 hours. You'll also need to build 2 animals in your Private Zoo, a New York property. Hopefully this won't mess up your active property designations like it did mine. You can build from your zoo every 18 hours, unless you speed build. Then you've also got to Put Brother Franky In Concrete Shoes 20 times; that's going to take a lot of energy, and the amount of energy it takes will change drastically depending on what level of mastery you are in that district. It just went from a total of almost 5000 energy costs for me to almost 10,000 :( The job can be found in The Old Warehouse district of Chicago.
