Ice Season, Chicago double mastery, Holiday Treasure Hunt end today

Due to all the stuff, crap, and events lobbed at us last week by Mafia Wars, there are several things ending either today or in the very near future. Ice Season 13 will be wrapping up in a matter less than 4 hours now. How'd you do? Me, not so great. Again. Hate to say it but I've kind of given up on the Ice Seasons. They're impossible for a balanced player like myself to finish with everything else going on at the same time. Sucks, I kinda liked them, too :(

 Chicago double mastery also ends tonight, at 11:59pm Pacific time.

Also ending at midnight Pacific time tonight is the Holiday Treasure Hunt (yes, I finally found the timer) :D

The Toy Store will be wrapping up tomorrow evening.

So will the Lexington Hotel 'additional district'.

Also keep in mind that the contract missions will be going away in a few days.

Hopefully all of these things won't be replaced. We really need a break.

Holiday Treasure Hunt: christmas stockings 'unlocked'

The last item for the Holiday Treasure Hunt, christmas stockings, started dropping now. Now we have how long to finish this and unwrap all our presents? Oh yeah, Zynga didn't say. Zynga has not been good about communication lately, and it stinks. This is now the second week that we've not had a This & Next Week post. Booo. I hope Zynga has just been more off their game because of the holidays and that this isn't a trend of things to come (or less things to come, rather).

Holiday Treasure Hunt: Christmas Ornaments 'unlocked'

I just noticed that the third item in the Holiday Treasure Hunt, Christmas Ornaments, is now dropping. These must unlock late at night. Then again, this Treasure Hunt thing is something I've only been playing passively.

At first it seemed this would be a lot of work, but that's the good thing about it, it doesn't interfere with how you play the game, since the items drop from jobs and fighting and robbing. There is a good chance of unwrapping a skill point from the board, which is always good.
