Round 2 of the Leo?

[ETA] it's already back to showing as "sold out", so I'm guessing that was a momentary glitch. 

It looks like this is back in the Marketplace! Makes you wonder how limited "limited time" is!

Leo Nemaeus: sold out

It took less than an hour, and the first limited edition item has been sold-out. There were 5,000 of them available at 35 RPs each. Personally, I did not partake in this, and won't be likely to get any of the currently scheduled Collector's Edition Items. The cost is too high for the relative worth of the loot item, IMHO.

Leo Nemaeus in Marketplace, and going fast

Yesterday, it was announced that Collector's Edition items in limited quantities would hit the Marketplace, a new one every day starting at 9AM Pacific time. Well, that was over an hour ago.

 

Of course, as soon as I started typing this post, I got this banner on my home page in Mafia Wars.

Clicking on "Get Item" just takes you to the Marketplace, where you'll need to initiate the purchase again if you want the item. Personally, I'm not payin' 35 RPs for a loot item, but I'm sure many will want to.

They are going fast though, hurry up if you want one, there's only a little over 3,000 left at the time I post this.

Collector's Edition loot in Marketplace starting tomorrow

As announced by the Mafia Wars blog, starting tomorrow morning, and ending on July 1st, a new item will go on sale in the Marketplace. Each item will remain on sale for 24 hours only, and there are only 5,000 of each item. Each Day's new item should show up around 9am Zyngon Pacific time. Here are the items:
