Retired achievements pulled

I'm not exactly sure when this change took place, but when I was looking at the list of achievements a little while ago, I realized I could no longer see the Cashing Out achievement. For that matter, a few of the achievements that are no longer attainable are no longer showing up in the list of achievements for those players who did not earn them previously. 

We just noticed that the SMS achievements have been pulled too.

Player Updates

I don't normally watch my Player Updates much, but there's been a little situation over the last few days that has given me cause to do so, and I've noticed a few things that I may not have otherwise. Yesterday I saw that the player updates now tells us if we've been attacked by SMS. Today I noticed that someone declared war on my top mafia, and that supposedly 4 people took me out in that war! Just exactly how many players does it take to take me out?? :D

 

 

One other thing I noticed was that operations are clearly marked in the feed - including the name of the op!

 Why Zynga doesn't put the name of the operation on the news feed posts is beyond me.

SMS attack notification

I'm not sure when this changed, or how useful it really is, but our ingame news feed will tell us when we've been attacked via SMS (text message). I just noticed it this morning.

It's been a long time since I've used their mobile SMS option, and even then I did so only for the achievements. I seem to recall that it was pretty random in its choice of targets, so I don't think I'm going to be going back after this guy. For all I know, he's just trying to get the achievement, too.
