3x Brazil mastery ends tonight

I almost forgot about this. Also ending tonight is the 3x Brazil mastery event for Mafia Wars. Presumably this will end at 11:59PM Pacific time. Don't forget to activate your Strategist crew member in Brazil for additional mastery.

Ice Season 12 and 3x Italy mastery ends today

 

There are two more events ending in the game today.

You've only got a few more hours to finish Ice Season 12. As you can see, I won't make it. This'll be the first time in a long time that I haven't hit diamond. I'm starting to not give a fig about these ice seasons. Whose bright idea was it to push us to do so much icing in Chicago for the current Conspiracy mission event? Thanks to that stupid mission event, I am falling far short of even my regular rate of ices, much less anywhere near the mark of Diamond 5. Frankly, after so many seasons of falling far short of Diamond 5, I'm starting to not even care enough to try and be excited. Take that to the bank, Zynga. These used to be fun, now they're just another reminder of all the crap in this game I simply can't get to. That doesn't fuel excitement to play.

3x mastery in Italy also ends tonight at 11:59PM Pacific time. I was initially excited for this event, because I'm currently working on Italy. I really could have used it. But again, the #$%^@*& mission event prevented me from doing so. The stupid mission event was a freakin Chicago energy hog of the worst variety.

I'm getting tired of how Zynga can't seem to balance any dam thing in this game. I'm a wife and a college student, and I already spend too much time on this game even though I have more important things to care about. Zynga can't wring anything else out of me.

/rant. Hope you guys did better than I did.

SURVEY: 3x mastery event

Zynga has been on a survey kick lately. Filling out a survey for Zynga often feels like wasted effort, because they rarely listen. In this case the survey offering is about the current 3x Mastery event in Italy, so it might be worth filling out the form...positive reinforcement, and all :0)

3x mastery in Italy through 12/13

Hooray! For the next 5 days, you'll get 3x mastery when doing jobs in Italy. I can use this one, so I'm happy about it. Looks like one of the new loot items can be obtained during this event as well.

Mafia Wars: 3x job mastery in Las Vegas

Well, now we know what the Magnum Shotgun was added for! Of greater interest than the Magnum Shotgun, though, is the 3x mastery being offered in Las Vegas now through next Tuesday, December 6th. Of course, they waited til I was almost done with Vegas to offer this :D Oh well, I'll take it. This should make Vegas a quick finish for me now. I like these extra mastery events.

3x Brazil Mastery

This banner just popped up on my Mafia Wars homepage banner, so it looks as though we will be able to get extra mastery when doing Brazil jobs until this coming Tuesday afternoon.

Using your Brazil crew member Strategist boost will not double the 3x mastery, however it does still double the original amount of mastery.

For instance, if you get 5% mastery on a job normally, you'll get 15% mastery with the 3x mastery event, plus another 5% mastery if your Strategist is active.

I hope you got your fill of Italian Job mastery, as the Italian Jobs 3x mastery event is now over. Were you able to focus on Italy during the event? I really wish I had had more time, energy, and stamina to work on Italy, but there was too much else going on I had to skip it.

The Italian Jobs 3x mastery event is scheduled to end in a little under 2 hours, so get in there and start mastering while there's still time!

Some were surprised to find the event was ending at 10AM Pacific today, but my post from a few days ago indicates that the end time was announced very shortly after the release of the event on the Mafia Wars blog.

How many Ruby-throated hummingbirds did you guys get?
I got none...too busy working on the ice season and Bangkok.

The Mafia Wars blog made a post about the Italian mastery event, which provided a couple pieces of information we didn't have previously.

• There will be no limit to how many Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds you can collect
• The event ends at 10AM Pacific on the 26th.

3x Mastery in Italy + Ruby-Throated Hummingbird

For the next four days, get 3x the job mastery when working in Italy! Additionally, Italy jobs will apparently sometimes drop the Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, which carries stats of (86,86).

As the guys have mentioned before during Mafia Wars Live broadcasts, they like to have "two new cities". Currently the two newest locations are Italy and Brazil. We've seen many hints about the coming new city. The new city is rumored to be Chicago, but that is largely based on popular opinion and there has been no verification from Zynga to that effect. In fact, I have seen it said, "I wouldn't go with Chicago yet".
