New Bookmarklet's from GuessX

GuessX is back with a couple of cool bookmarklets.

First up is iNeed. iNeed does an inventory scan of what you have and tells you what you need and even shows you the Gain you will get by getting these items. It even breaks it down into different tabs so you know what you are looking for. It also shows you the stuff you do not have and how many you are using and how many you need.

Next up on the list is iCollector. If you are a loot collector, you will really like this tool. This basically does a scan of your inventory and list all the loot that you do not own. It creates a list that is sorted by Item ID,Item Name,Item Stats and if its Giftable. If an item is giftable, then it will be highlighted and show a Giftbox at the right of that line. If you want to add the item to your wishlist, you just need to click on the giftbox(of course your wishlist has to have room).

You can find these bookmarklets and a few more we will review later here

Scruffy mod - Chucker

During a discussion of Arun's Chucker on the Mistyfied Mafia Wars fan page, Mari Lajunen posted a link to Scruffy's Mafia Wars Bookmarklets and recommended Scruffy's Chucker mod. I had never actually heard of this site, so I checked it out and found not only a Chucker mod, but mods of other scripts as well. I'll check them out later, but I did use his Chucker and liked what I saw.

If you're someone who makes use of Chucker, you may like Scruffy's Chucker mod, as it breaks down what loot you have by how many you own, how many are active items that you are using, and how many you can give away. It otherwise works just like original, but I suspect many may like the additional information offered in Scruffy's mod.

Thanks for the tip, Mari!

Show Worst Items spocklet

When visiting Spockholm's page to reinstall a bookmarklet, I noticed this "Show Worst Items" bookmarklet. Very simple, and very handy -- run from any unframed Mafia Wars page, and it displays this box in the upper right corner of your screen. It will tell you the lowest stats of active items, items that are part of your attack and defense equipment. For those who find the information provided by analyzers to be overwhelming, this spocklet is all you need to figure out what loot stats you should be looking for.

Mafia Wars KopyKats closing up shop

GuessX of Mafia Wars KopyKats is closing up shop. Nothing to be alarmed over, as he is doing so for personal reasons. KopyKats hosts several bookmarklet scripts that had been modified in some way, plus some of their own.

A few days ago, GuessX contacted me and gave me some information about what was going on. He was looking for new 'homes' for some of their scripts, so that players who used them would not have much interruption from his departure. Brawler Lite is one such tool that was based on the original Brawler, by Arun at Code Outpost, and GuessX has given over its care to our Mr. Wizard and it's now hosted here.

GuessX, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

So who is this Mr. Wizard, anyway? Does anyone know? ;)
