NEW SECRET DISTRICT: Back Alley Business, Brazil

A new secret district landed on your Mafia Wars home page a little while ago. It's called Back Alley Business, Brazil, and as the name implies, this additional district can be found in Brazil. We have 2 weeks to complete it.

Make the desolate and grimy back alleys of Brazil your own. Flex some muscle with a show of force, then enlist and arm local street thugs to take over the neighborhood.

There are actually some decent job ratios there--that makes me happy!

You will need a consumable for some of the jobs, the Rifle Case. You can send Rifle Cases from the Mafia Wars home page banner, or from the Free Gift page. You can also loot them in the game, or click HERE to send them to your friends.

As was introduced with the previous secret district Lexington Hotel, you can earn skill points by collecting the special loot items that drop in this district. To help out with this, you can also request 2x Loot boosts from the drop-down menu at the top of the secret district page. Block Busters, Runner Vests, and Alley Cats are the loot items.

23 new loot items added to Mafia Wars Inventory

Lots more new loot has been added to our Mafia Wars inventory, courtesy of Zynga. When it rains, it pours.

Some of these items appear to indicate future events:

Jailer's Pistol (A:60 D:101) from Chicago
Police Cap (A:103 D:62) from Chicago
Night Owl (A:61 D:105) from Chicago
Paddy Wagon (A:109 D:63) from Chicago
Bribed Policeman (A:190 D:81) from Chicago
Jailbreaker from Chicago

For instance, the Jailbreaker item has no stats, so it is probably a consumable. And the Bribed Policeman is clearly a mastery item. Secret districts...er, "Additional Districts" would be my guess, as those usually require a new consumable item.

EDIT, the Mafia Wars Collectors blog has these labeled as Chicago District items. Additional district?

Block Buster (A:97 D:60) from Brazil
Runner Vest (A:59 D:99) from Brazil
Alley Cat (A:101 D:62) from Brazil
Corner Car (A:61 D:105) from Brazil
Street Warrior (A:85 D:185) from Brazil
Rifle Case from Brazil

Several items are also listed as being from Brazil, and these also look to be for a Brazil event in Mafia Wars. The Rifle Case appears to be a consumable, and the Street Warrior is a mastery item.

Edit, the Mafia Wars Collector's blog has these labeled as Brazil district items. Secret District? Additional District?

Party Animal (A:90 D:155) from Special Event

Hard to say what this gal is for, but she's listed as a Special Event item. People party up at New Year's, so maybe it's something for around then. Limited time mission?

The rest of the items are just listed as Marketplace items. Meh.

Stack Pistol (A:122 D:67) from Marketplace
Stud Punchers (A:121 D:68) from Marketplace
Arika (A:124 D:65) from Marketplace
Serval (A:125 D:62) from Marketplace
Rocks (A:123 D:66) from Marketplace
Chest Burster (A:73 D:118) from Marketplace
Layered Armor Torso (A:72 D:119) from Marketplace
Black Fire (A:76 D:117) from Marketplace
Eastern Coral Snake (A:78 D:115) from Marketplace
Max (A:77 D:116) from Marketplace

EDIT, the Mafia Wars Collector's blog indicates these may be for an upcoming generation of Lucky Stash bonus loot.
