Where's your Ice Season 12 reward??

Ice Season 12 ended a little while ago, and some Mafia Wars players are wondering where the banner went. Usually we collect our Ice Season reward from the home page banner once the Ice Season is completed. I had a WTF moment too, but fear not, this is not a mistake (this time). Just go to the fight list and you'll get a pop-up showing your level badge and Compound Pulse Rifle reward.

Ice Season 12 is Here!

 Ice Season 12 is here - with the standard season rewards and a nifty "Compound Pulse Rife" to add to your collection.   With attack of 116 and defense of 157 for Diamond Tier 5, I'm sure we will still be seeing lots of ices.  You'll need to obtain 1500 ices in 2 weeks, which should make it easier for many of us to complete.

Ice Season 11 ends today, Family Gatherings mission event ends today

There are only a few hours remaining in Ice Season 11, so if you haven't completed the ice season yet, you betta be icing your butt off! Suffice it to say, I won't make it--again--although this time it's my fault and not Zynga's. The Thanksgiving holiday kept me busy, and of course when you're married, you've got double the visiting and double the cooking to do! So I'll just resolve to do better during the next Ice Season, and I'm guessing we won't have long to wait. According to Zynga, we can expect the next Ice Season this week, so we will probably see it very shortly after the end of Ice Season 11.

In fact, it might be a busy day for us, new stuff -wise. The Family Gatherings mission event will be ending this evening. Typically, once a mission event ends, we see a new one within a few hours, but Zynga hasn't announced a mission event for this week. Instead we will see the new Secret District this week. I'd be a little surprised, though, if they released a new Secret District without a new mission event to go along with it. Certainly their "This and Next Week" posts have left quite a bit to be desired when it comes to full disclosure. We shall see... soon.

So it doesn't look like we're going to get a break between the current ice season and the next one :-/  And oh boy! Another cost-prohibitive secret district! I hope to hell this one has better ratios than the last one; I was almost sorry I bothered to finish the last secret district.
