It didn't take long to master the Toe Jammers, and earning the Foxy grand prize mastery item for the Incognito gift mastery event.

Something I was wondering about--kinda figured would be the case, actually--was if we'd be able to remaster the event. Looks like that is indeed going to be the case. Too bad it's hard to stockpile gift requests with the stupid ZMC limit of 100 gifts. But there's plenty of time, just under a week left in the event. Enjoy your spam!

Incognito Gift Mastery Event Gifting Limit to Be Raised, Event Extended

Funny how people appear to be taking credit for this change, but the fact is, quite a lot of people were pitching a fit over the limits of boosts that could be collected and it was more than just one person's 'suggestion'. I was just noticing that I could accept more, and now we see this on the official Mafia Wars blog:

Just announced in our Known Free Gift & ZMC Issues forum thread:
Gifting Limits for the Incognito Gift Mastery Event Are Too Low
Issue: Some players report that the number of Incognito Gift Mastery gifts they are able to accept daily is too low.
Status: Fix coming soon. We will be bumping the gifting limit back to what past Gift Mastery Events have allowed and extending the Incognito Gift Mastery Event by 1 day.

Rant #2 on Briefcase Gun limits

Yesterday, I posted a rant about the ridiculous limits on the number of Briefcase Guns that can be accepted. I saw that rant echoed quite a bit in my news feed. I was able to accept a few more this morning, so at first I had some dim albeit foolish hope that Zynga actually gave a sh*t about what we had to say about this. Not so; the limit is still there, it's probably just an every 8 hour -type thing. Still unacceptable. Totally takes what little fun away that we used to get from these events. It used to be fun to see how fast we could master them. But noooo, Zynga, in their infinite retardation, always find what we like and slap it down.Why in the hell should they care how fast we master it, when you can only master one part of it every so many (too many) days?

Zynga allow me to spell this out for you in unequivocal terms: this is bullsh*t. You need to stop trying to find ways of limiting what few ways we have left to enjoy the game. You had NO reason to go and screw around with this. Now you've pissed off even more players. Man up and get rid of this dumb@ss limit.

Zynga screws up again with limit of 10 Briefcase Guns accepted per day

The Incognito Gift Mastery event just hit the feeds a very short while ago, and it didn't take us very long to figure out there's a RIDICULOUSLY low limit of 10 of these that you can accept as gifts per day. WTF, are you KIDDING me Zynga? I get sick to effing death of the ignorant limits imposed on us already, but this is just stupid-low.

Don't get excited everyone, it's just another bullsh*t ploy to get us to send zillions of requests, which Zynga makes money off, but is completely wasted effort on our parts.

Pfft. I can't believe how dumb this is.

I wasn't sure how this would work, but now I realize that we've seen gifting events like this before. Gifting events are ok with me as long as we don't see them often.


For now you're collecting Briefcase Gun boosts, which provide +130 attack skill. Collect these in 3 tiers to earn the Businessman mastery reward.

I'm told there's a limit of how many you can accept per day, so as one reader put it, there's probably no need for most of us to go bonkers with sending Briefcase Gun boosts. But then again, if you're one of those players who have trouble achieving these types of events, it's always a good idea to send what gifts you need, as players are more likely to return them.
