2 events end today

Two events are ending today, the Snake Island secret district and the Incognito gift mastery event. You've got about 90 minutes or so to finish up Snake Island, and just under 8 hours to finish the Incognito gift mastery event. It would be nice if these events were not immediately replaced with some other digital wastes of our time, but it looked like it's going to be a busy week, newstuff-wise.

I barely touched Snake Island. I'm not very interested in secret districts in Mafia Wars when they cost so much and don't offer better job ratios. The Incognito gift mastery event I almost forgot about, so I'm scurrying to send out gifts so that I can finish that tonight.

If you still haven't finished that, the best way to make sure you get the gifts you need is to send gifts.

WANTED: ability to control robbing boosts

What some players are finding out, or re-remembering in some cases, is that you can't turn robbing boosts on and off like you can fight boosts. Having your fight boosts turned off from your fight list screen and then going to rob is still going to use up your Toe Jammers, in other words. I've seen a few people not-so-happy over this.

Unfortunately the only way to control that is to just not accept them when you don't want to use them. Unless of course Zynga comes up with a change in the near future.

INCOGNITO GIFT MASTERY EVENT: Toe Jammers unlocked

The next step of the Incognito gift mastery event is unlocked now. The Toe Jammers boost provides you with +150% chance of robbing the next property successfully . The mastery reward for the Toe Jammers is the Pop Dancer. You can send the Toe Jammer boosts from Mafia Wars, or click HERE. Spread the good word :D

If you've looked at your news feed, you can't help but know that the Incognito Gift Mastery event is here!

I wasn't sure how this would work, but now I realize that we've seen gifting events like this before. Gifting events are ok with me as long as we don't see them often.


For now you're collecting Briefcase Gun boosts, which provide +130 attack skill. Collect these in 3 tiers to earn the Businessman mastery reward.

In a little under 4 days, the Good Word boost will unlock for mastery. It provides +130 defense skill.

I'm told there's a limit of how many you can accept per day, so as one reader put it, there's probably no need for most of us to go bonkers with sending Briefcase Gun boosts. But then again, if you're one of those players who have trouble achieving these types of events, it's always a good idea to send what gifts you need, as players are more likely to return them.
