Pyromaniac Seven Day Sale Event 5/10

Just like the No Strings Attached sale event, this goes on for seven days. We have seven new loot items, and we get skill points with each purchase.

Each day the loot items get a little bit better, and so do the skill points.

Day one item is a Flame Wheel, vehicle 224/164 *and* +1 skill point.
Day two item is 2 Cinders, weapon, 165/224 *and* + 2 skill points.
Day three item is 3 Flame Proofs, armor 164/225 *and* +3 skill points.
Day four item is 4 Embers, animal 225/165 *and* +4 skill points.
Day five item is 5 Flared Ups,  weapon 225/164 *and* +5 skill points.
Day six item is 6 Firebirds, vehicle 164/225 *and* +6 skill points.
Day seven item is 7 Pyromen, henchmen 164/225 *and* +7 skill points.

How the deal works:

So, if I want to end this event with 35 Pyromen, I have to purchase 5 of *each* days deal so that I can purchase 5 Pyromen deals. Pricey.
If you purchase this deal all the way through day seven, one of each day's deal, it will cost 315 Reward Points, and you will get 28 loot items and 28 skill points. This comes out to about 11.25 RP per item with the points included.
These sales are usually followed by one of those fill-in-the-bar sale events, and this sale usually counts towards completion on that sale as well.

A Royal Flush sale event 10/12

A Royal Flush sale event, better than From Dawn to Dusk sale event ?

The price has gone up! This time each day will cost 45 RP instead of 40 RP, but for those extra RP we will be getting skill points.

The second bullet on this explanation of the sale tells us how the skill points will be dealt. If you purchase one of each deal, you will end up with 28 skill points and 28 items for  315 Reward Points. Basically the difference from the Midsummer Manic Sale Event and From Dusk to Dawn sale event to today's sale event is that we end up paying an additional 35 RP to get the 28 skill points *and* the 28 loot items. After doing a little math, and please let me know if you think I am wrong, I believe I can get 39 items from the Bermuda Triangle Crate Sale for the same number of RP and *five* of those items have better stats than these do. I bought three of those crates last night and got one Bon Voyage [vehicle 212/151] so I think I'm going to sit this one out, for now at least.

Double Agent Sale "Event" 9/12

Right before I went to bed last night I saw a new banner on the in game home page

Double Agent Sale Coming Soon! I was so thrilled I nearly peed my pants (sarcasm)

Don't forget about the SMALL PRINT!

What they (most likely) mean by "less than 5 RP" is "5 RP or less" because the last few of these, any item I purchased for 5 RP did not count.

In the interest of keeping it fresh and new, Zynga has used the fill-in-the-bar thing again, just like they did with Spotlight Sale "Event"

The big Loot Item this time is a Spy Tablet,  Armor [varies]

Graveyard Shift Sale *event* 9/06

I'm with this guy, STOP already! So many ways to spend money on the game, so many fewer players on the fight list. But here it is, another sale "event". This is going to be just like the Games People Play Sale "event" of three weeks ago.

Let's say the items we *really* want is the 4 Barmaids. The *only* way to get that is to buy all three of the previous items, starting with today's Highway Flagger.

This is a good deal on loot that might be good for a while, especially if you have 280 Reward Points sitting around waiting to be spent. If you purchase one of each day, that is a total of 28 loot items which works out to 10 Reward Points per items. Better than the Marketplace. You *are* allowed to purchase more items of days you have already unlocked without going back to the beginning.

Spotlight Sale "Event" *Repeat* 9/02

Spotlight Sale "event" Repeat.  Reward points are *not* %50 off as they were Spotlight Sale *event* 8/22

Which will probably work just like the last Sale Event which asked us to buy 25 items  Edge of Triumph Sale *event* The Grand Prize for buying all those items is one Comedian, nice stats.

Here is the cute little bar we are supposed to fill up with the 25 purchases. I clicked the cute little question mark and got the fun pop-up which says in the small print at the bottom

Items purchased for less than 5 Reward points, Treasure Chest and Skill Point Reallocation do not count towards the prize. Well, last time items that sold *at* 5 RP did not count, so it *should* say, items selling for 5 RP or less don't count, but *whatever*. I am staying on my Mafia Wars Spending Diet.

Games People Play Sale *event* 8/14

Rodeo Rider, Henchmen [120/180]

Another Sale "event". Yippee. Just like the Midsummer Manic Sale Event this will go on for seven days.

These items all have good numbers and this might be a really good deal for you.
When you click on "Click Here" to view all 7 deals, you get to see this:

If you really want the 7 Ballboys that is the day 7 deal, you have to purchase all 6 of the other deals on the way there.

Fine print. There is always fine print.

Seems to me these purchasing events are breeding and multiplying, and I just don't feel like spending. This is just more Marketplace Mess

Edge of Triumph Sale Event 8/3

Javelin Thrower, henchmen, stats vary

Another Sale event, and I am on a Mafia Wars spending diet. Oh well... let's see what we've got going on.

Okay so I'm all excited and it says "Buy any 25 items*" oh looky an *asterisk*! What's that about?

Scroll your eyes to the bottom to see, just as in previous "sale events" that "any" means "any item costing more than 5 Reward Points" and voila! The payout of a Javelin Thrower is pretty decent if you are willing to dump that much more cash into this game at this time.

I would think that for spending a minimum of 125 Reward Points to get the top item, it would have an equally high defense as it has attack. I guess not? Pffft. No sale here. Even with 50% off Reward Points, I'm on a serious Mafia Wars spending diet this week.
