2x Fight Rewards This Weekend

It seems that yet another event has been thrown at us, this one another double fight loot weekend, which ranks among most people's favorite type events.

This is nice, and I'm not complaining about double loot, however I'm starting to get really irritated with all the crap going on in the game right now. Someone(s) at Zynga is again disregarding all of our complaints about events piled on top of each other continuously. This is getting ridiculous.

• Eliminate Kassina Kunoichi
• Double Fight Loot Weekend
• X-Men Loot Drop Event

...I'm sure I'm missing something. For Chrissakes Zynga, slow the F down.

Come on now, who posts this stuff? That's silly. I'm almost done with the boss fight already (and no, I don't want it to be made "harder"...I want the old boss fights back), and others are already done. At least Roughhouse Rafael was new. 

Kassina Kunoichi slightly corrected: no mission/achievement

Before, as per a screen shot of Kassina Kunoichi's FAQ I took only a short while ago:

Q: Is there mastery for defeating the Boss?
A. Yes! Players will receive a mastery item (bronze, silver, or gold) each time they knock out the Boss, however you will not actually finish the Boss until you have reached the gold mastery level. But, don't defeat the Boss on the gold level too quickly, because on 5/12/11, a quest event will begin that will have the final combo so that you can earn the achievement.

After, all mention of the quest and achievement are removed.

And this question/answer about the achievement was removed entirely.

In this forum thread, which I referenced earlier today, Super Moderator Cerulean Master has finally addressed the questions: "There is no mission or achievement associated with this Boss Fight."

So there you have it, no mission/quest, no achievement. 

Personally, I'm not upset at this news, I just think it's laughable that the FAQ was released with such a ripe case of Copy/Paste. But we already have TOO MUCH going on in the game right now, and more that we know is coming. The last thing I want is another mission event, or another event of any kind, for that matter.

There seems to be some confusion over what's actually to be expected of this Kassina Kunoichi boss fight event.

The FAQ clearly states there's going to be a quest and an achievement, but it's just as clearly only a copy and paste of the Roughhouse Rafael FAQ, so who knows how accurate this really is?

There's already a forum thread wondering about it. In that thread, one person claims that Zynga told him there were no plans for a mission or achievement.

 Then there's the image used on Kassina Kunoichi's FAQ ~ kind of looks like an achievement, doesn't it?


It seems that no one's sure!


Maybe Zynga should revise Kassina Kunoichi's FAQ...

Defeat Kassina Kunoichi 411/FAQ

Defeat? Wasn't that for Rafael? It's "Eliminate", silly editors!

The 411/FAQ (or whatever they're calling it these days) for the Kassina Kunoichi boss fight has now been posted.

The event is scheduled to end on Tuesday May 31st. Supposedly, this boss also has an 8 hour heal timer. That was said about Roughhouse Rafael too though, and I never noticed that to be the case for that event (at least in my game).

It's worth noting that the mission combo remains the same as from the first boss fight we had using combos.

Q:  I unlocked the mission combo on the previous boss fight, is it still available?
A:  Yes.  The mission combo remains the same from the first boss event and will appear unlocked on the current boss fight.

For job, fighting, and robbing consumables, you can collect up to 50 each day. Shotgun Blasts, which are obtained through gifting, can be collected up to 40 per day.

It's obvious that they copy/pasted most of this info from Roughhouse Rafael's FAQ. Check out the date pertaining to the mission event we were wondering about!

If all of the information holds true, we can expect a mission event (or quest event...whatever) and maybe an achievement sometime during this event.

 Hard to say about the achievement part since that was definitely simply copy and pasted from Roughhouse Rafael's info. Most of us have already discovered all 3 combos, and I know several people have already beat the boss. We'll see.
