MAFIA WARS FAMILY ICING EVENT
This is a new type of icing event that is geared for those members of a redtag Family, called Death By Ice. Mastery items can be earned by the group, and each member of the group can get a mastery item. Special rewards will go to the top 10 Families. I bet I can already make some solid bets as to most of the families that will populate the top 10. And it won't be mine, lol.

There'll be multiple tiers of icing mastery, and for each tier achieved, all members of the group get mastery item. Your ices during fighting will count toward the Family's mastery during the event. Here are the tiers/mastery rewards.

100	Bronze	Ma armor 78 ATT/120 DEF
2,500	Silver	Ma armor 83 ATT/130 DEF
10,000	Gold	Ma armor 88 ATT/140 DEF
30,000	Ruby	Ma armor 93 ATT/150 DEF

 

As mentioned, the top 10 Families will earn bonus prizes on top of the Family Mastery rewards, but members of the top family will receive a Two-Headed Snake (175/175) and 20 skill points. Wow!

 

 

Leaderboards

You'll see the top 4 Families ranked in a leaderboard during the event. Your own Family's stats will be on the left of the banner, and your personal progress shown in the middle.

Join a Family

This event is geared only for redtag Families. Some people are already saying that this is unfair for players who aren't in Families, or who can't redtag with their Family due to the 100 member limit. I can sort of understand that, but I also like the concept of a feature-driven event in this case, and I'm looking forward to seeing how my little social group performs.
