WANTED: ability to remove myself from operations!

Last month, FC Rebecca Read opened this thread on Getsatisfaction.com, the gist of which is, we want a way to remove ourselves from operations.

Rinzler said that it was a fairly common suggestion, and he was forwarding it to the team. I'm starting to think it's about time the team listens, what do you think?

It's really a pain in the a$s when you've got stamina and energy to blow on operations, but then you get this message: "Can only help in 10 operations at a time."

Then you go look to collect and close some of the ops you're already in on, and get a pageful of stalled operations like this where some a$shole never finished the job :0) Or never even started it.

At that point, it would be nice if you could simply excuse yourself from operations of your choosing. After all, you spent the energy and stamina to begin with, shouldn't it be your choice if you want to waste it and get out of that operation to find more active ops?

  1. i use most of my energy to do operations. it is the way i play the game. i players join operations and don't finish or do the job at all, it stops the action for my game play. i enjoy playing this way because it yields the best loot for the least amount of energy. it is important for me to keep operations flowing otherwise, frankly the game sucks. i should be able to take myself out of stalled operations so i may continue playing. in no other aspect of the game are you stopped from playing. frustrated, ayn rose

  3. I think it´s the responsability of the OP leader. They are in charge of their OPs. You can see how much they respect their helpers if they just leave you an unfinished op. I can imagine it´s a pain in the a$s for ppl that use auto-joiners and get stuck because these tools don´t differ between leaders that care and those who don´t.

  4. i'm just thankful that they finally gave us an option to request help for our friends' ops so that we can ensure they get done. but it is extremely frustrating when a job gets selected and not completed cuz then everyone working to complete it suffers horribly.

  5. I can't imagine just starting an op with a click and never come back to it in a day or two. That is so rude. Ops is what I enjoy and I have to wait a day or two for somebody to finish. I feel we should be able to drop somebody from an Op after so many hour's even if were not the owner from an Op, cause some owner's of Op's may not take ownership of them and follow thru.
