Following quite a number of player complaints,
including from one of our own Contributors, Zynga returned the Docking option for the fight list a day or so ago, and just posted the following on the official Mafia Wars blog:
Just a heads up that the much-loved Fight module docking option has been restored. If your fight module is still floating, you'll find a "<< dock" link at the bottom of the module. (See it circled in green in the image below.) Clicking that link will snap that bad boy back in it's place.
